ABOUT ROB

Rob is an energetic and enthusiastic engineering TV presenter. He has a thirst for understanding how things work. He also loves pushing his own physical limits through adventure and endurance sports.

His passion for the outdoors and nature has seen him travel widely within the UK and around the world - both on and off screen. Alternatively, in quieter moments, he's likely to be found in his little workshop - just tinkering.

Big Ideas explored through Little Pictures.

Accompanying podcast to sketchplanations.com

This is an explainer podcast for the curious-minded. It's certainly not a self-help podcast, but it'll help fuel your own interesting conversations and you might take something away that helps you notice or even enjoy the world around you a little more. Topics covered include science, behavioural economics, wellbeing, nature, psychology frameworks, business models, cognitive biases, and even domestic life-hacks.

Rob hosts each episode with lifelong friends Jono Hey (creator of Sketchplanations) and Tom Pellereau (inventor and former Apprentice UK winner) and episodes often feature expert guests such as America's "Explainer-in-Chief" David McCaulay and renowned Etymologist and author Mark Forsyth.
